If you are involed in an accident or if your vehicle is stolen you must call your Mexico Auto Insurance provider toll free in Mexico at the numbers below. All Claims must be reported before leaving Mexico. Failure to report your Mexico auto Insurance claim may result in you claim getting denied. These numbers below are toll free and can be called for accident, theft or legal aid in Mexico.

If you are in voled in an accident the first thing to remember is stay calm. You purchased Mexico Auto Insurance. Below are the procedures that are recommended by both Genworth Seguros and ACE seguros.
• Remain calm.
• Do not leave the scene.
• Dial 01 800 019 6000. You will be asked to provide:
• Policy number
• Name of the insured and the driver
• Vehicle Identification: year, make, model, type, color and license plate
• Place and address where the accident occurred
Important - Do not leave the vehicle unattended since the insurance policy does not cover partial theft of parts, unless you purchased optional coverage. If the vehicle is moved from the scene of the accident, you must inform the Mexico Auto Insurance company of the new location. When the adjuster arrives, you will be asked for the following documents:
•Insurance policy
• A valid driver’s license
• You will be asked to complete an accident report. Please do so since failure to do that may result in rejection of the claim.
If your vehicle is stolen you will need to contact your Mexico Auto Insurance provider at the numbers above. Genworth or ACE Seguros may send out an adjuster to the accident in order to take a report. All theft must be reperted to your Mexico Auto Insurance provided plus you will need to contact one of the Mexico Authorities below:
• Ministerio Público (District Attorney's Office)
• Policía Federal Preventiva (PFP - Federal Police)
• Tránsito del Estado (State transit authorities)
• Seguridad Pública (Municipal police)
• Seguridad Vial (Transit safety)
When you return to your home country you should also contact your U.S. or Canadian Inurance providers and inform them that your car was stolen in Mexico. To check on the status of you Mexico Auto Insurance claim once you are back at home contact your Mexico Auto insurance company below:
